ORAPEX 2026: Aerophilately & Bytown

The Ottawa Regional Association of Philatelic Exhibitions (ORAPEX), founded in 1961, was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 2021 and is supported by the Ottawa Philatelic Society (OPS), the Alta Vista Stamp Club and the Amicale des Philatélistes de l’Outaouais (APO). As one of the few National Stamp Shows held annually in Canada, ORAPEX is part of the American Philatelic Society’s ‘World Series of Philately.’ Sponsors, dealers, exhibitors, philatelic societies, volunteers and visitors make it Canada’s premiere philatelic destination every Spring.
ORAPEX boasts more than 100 frames of exhibits, hosts one of the largest dealer bourses in the country, and convenes an impressive series of society meetings, seminars and study groups. Kids enjoy the Youth Booth which has plenty to offer young collectors. The show’s awards reception is a highlight of the weekend and a great chance for socializing.
Our joint themes for 2026 are ‘Aerophilately’ and ‘Bytown’—the original name for Ottawa, which was founded in 1826.
